To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, AL Pro Cleaning Ltd has established terms and conditions for our services.
These terms are designed to be fair and are commonly adopted across various industries. While we strive to adhere to these terms, our primary goal is to be reasonable and accommodating to both you, our valued client, and our team. In the rare event of a dispute, misunderstanding, or complaint, we aim to reach a fair resolution, often leaning in favor of our clients. As a company, we highly value repeat business and referrals, so customer satisfaction and excellent service are our top priorities
Agreement: By engaging AL Pro Cleaning Ltd, whether in person, by phone, email, fax, or through our website, you agree to comply with our terms and conditions. These terms are governed by UK law, and any legal disputes will be handled exclusively by UK courts. AL Pro Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.
Your Responsibilities:
Safe Working Environment: Ensure that our team works in a safe environment by keeping cleaning equipment in good working condition and securing all items such as wardrobes, shelves, cupboards, mirrors, and pictures.
Provide Equipment: Supply all necessary cleaning tools and materials, including a vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, iron, ironing board, gloves, and dusters.
Access to Property: Ensure that access to your property is available at the scheduled time. If our cleaners cannot enter due to lockout, absence of a keyholder, or issues with keys, the full cleaning fee will be charged.
Alarm Systems: AL Pro Cleaning Ltd is not responsible for any disturbances to alarm systems. Provide clear instructions for deactivating or activating alarms. Make sure the alarm is deactivated on the cleaning day if your cleaner does not have the alarm codes.
Ironing Services: If ironing services are requested, provide a protective mat to place under the ironing board to prevent damage to floors and carpets. AL Pro Cleaning Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage caused by a hot iron if a safety mat is not provided.
Utilities: Ensure that there is hot water and electricity available for our cleaners to effectively perform their duties.
Public Holidays: Cleaning services scheduled on public holidays will be canceled. Please contact us to reschedule unless the cleaner is available to work on the holiday.
Employment Referral Fee: If you hire any individual currently or previously employed by AL Pro Cleaning Ltd within the past year, a referral fee of £500 per person will apply. This fee is applicable regardless of the employment type, and you will be responsible for any associated legal or collection costs.
Insurance Coverage
AL Pro Cleaning Ltd holds comprehensive insurance, including public liability and employers' liability. However, we are not liable for damages resulting from inappropriate cleaning materials provided by clients.
Reporting Damage: Any damage or breakage caused by our staff must be reported immediately, and no later than 24 hours after the service. Claims made after 24 hours will not be accepted.
Accidental Damage: Our accidental damage insurance has a £250 excess. This coverage excludes damage from abrasive products or bleach spills. For any damage exceeding £250, please arrange your own insurance coverage.
Information Requirement: The client must promptly inform AL Pro Cleaning Ltd about any damage caused by our staff.
Window Cleaning: Our insurance does not cover outdoor window cleaning beyond the ground floor.
Specialized Cleaning: We do not perform deep or specialized cleaning for antique, delicate, or valuable items. If such services are requested, AL Pro Cleaning Ltd will not be responsible for any damage to these items.
Ironing Services: We are not liable for damage to garments labeled "dry clean only" if you request ironing services.
Irreplaceable Items: While our team strives to avoid damage, accidents may occur. We attempt to replace damaged items with identical ones but cannot guarantee it. We recommend storing irreplaceable or valuable items before cleaning.
Laundry Services: Regular cleaning services do not include laundry. If laundry services are requested, AL Pro Cleaning Ltd will not be liable for any damage to clothing.
Payment Terms
Timely payment is essential for the smooth operation of our services. Please be aware that late payments may incur additional charges.
Invoicing and Late Fees: Invoices are issued monthly, and payments should be made by the 1st of each month. Late payments will incur a £5 fee for each month of delay. Overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency and could incur additional legal costs.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via standing order, BACS transfer, or cheque. When paying, include your name and invoice number as a reference. If paying by cheque, you are responsible for any bank or legal fees resulting from a bounced cheque.
Complaints and Claims
If you are dissatisfied with our service, we will arrange for a cleaner to return and address the issue at no additional cost. We may take up to 7 working days to respond to your complaint.
Complaints can be made verbally (by phone) or in writing (via letter, email, or fax). Please report any issues immediately after service completion or within 24 hours.
For any follow-up cleaning, you must be present throughout the process. We will perform follow-up cleaning only once and cannot be responsible for tasks not included in the original task list.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment, provide at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel or change the date/time with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full price for the missed visit will be charged.
To terminate your cleaning service, provide a two-week (14 days) notice, specifying the final date of service.
